The second Swiss Citizen Science Conference will be kicked off by Professor Heidi Kaspar, Co-Director of the Competence Center Participatory Health Care at the UASB (Bern University of Applied Sciences), with an inspiring keynote speech on the topic "Citizen Science - Impact through Participation".
Heidi Kaspar is co-director of the Competence Center Participatory Health Care (PART) at the Bern University of Applied Sciences since 2021. She is the head of the research cluster "Sorgende Gemeinschaften für Partizipation im Alter" and until recently the head of the research project "Creating supportive communities for long-term home care" (NRP 74), in which researchers set up supportive communities in four communities in collaboration with the population, specialists and representatives of the political communities. Heidi Kaspar holds a PhD in social geography. Her research focuses on participatory methods, power relations and care relations in transnational and local contexts.
